Biography
With decades of full-time teaching and playing experience, I have learned to utilize technics that combine my specialized teaching methods with a healthy balance of patience and fun that will keep children and adults fully engaged in learning to play the piano.
I strive to guide students through the learning process to make it fun and rewarding while sharing my passion for the piano with them. I especially enjoy being able to connect with more challenging students, including those that are very young or have other special needs.
Although I focus on traditional teaching methods, I strive to include a wide variety of styles, customized to each student. Additionally my students will learn all aspects of piano education, including piano technique, artistry and piano music theory, including how to read music.

Mr. Russell is available for in-home piano lessons throughout the western suburbs of Chicago including Hinsdale, Burr Ridge, Western Springs, Clarendon Hills, Westmont, Oak Brook, Downers Grove, La Grange Park and the surrounding areas.
